Born into a heavily music influenced family, Rob knew at a very young age that music would eventually be his destiny. At age 12, he started playing guitar, wanting to be a lead guitarist/shredder, until he discovered his vocal ability and passion for singing. He then started shaping his entire career around one of his biggest musical influences, Chris Cornell.
He has also had the honor of collaborating with his original material and was even briefly mentored by the late music icon. Chris even helped name his original band Signal The Sun.
Rob, sees it as not only an honor, but as a gift of gratitude, in return, for the legend that he now pays tribute to.
Rob has since, and continues, to record original material/albums with some very well-known, top-level producers. He has also supported many national acts in his career with his original bands, including, Skid Row, LA Guns, George Lynch, Dream Theater, Saving Abel, just to name a few.
In King Animal, Rob dedicates and performs each performance with true passion, channeling the one of a kind vocal tone and range of one of the greatest Rock singers of all time.

His musical journey began at the tender age of six, fostering a deep, lifelong passion for sound. By 15, he picked up the bass guitar, finding his voice in the low end. His influences include a powerful lineage of rock titans the likes of KISS, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden blended with the raw power of ’90s grunge heavyweights like Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam.
